1. Sticky:Manus Peak Ambush - Map Feedback - in Manus Peak [original thread]
I agree that it is very one sided. Anyone who has control of the east side will have major advantages. Snipers have the rock spires to give them the high ground while assaults and heavies have the center that has a natural defense towards the west...

2. [Pro Tip] How to get that pesky sniper on the peak of that SouthEastern mountain - in Manus Peak [original thread]
If you are attacking from the North and get pinned by that one sniper perched at the tippy top of the SouthEastern mountain, there is a way to get to him without having to be a sniper. http://web.ccpgamescdn.com/dust/img/forums/manuspeak_skirmis...

3. Sticky:Manus Peak Ambush - Map Feedback - in Manus Peak [original thread]
1. Way too small. 2. Unable to make much use of the structures that are just within the red zone. 3. Spawn locations are not random at all (just like all the other ambush maps) as they are quite predictable. 4. Spawn locations sometimes place you ...

6. [Opinion] Skirmish is wildly unbalanced - in Manus Peak [original thread]
The defending MCC located on the left half of 3C is too close to the front lines in my opinion and it lacks cover. I can easily reach into their drop-in area and pick them off as they land and still get out of the red zone in time.

7. Pro Tip - For Ninja Knifers - in Manus Peak [original thread]
http://web.ccpgamescdn.com/dust/img/forums/manuspeak_skirmish.jpg Located somewhere along 3C and 4C is a bunker that lands smack on the border of the red zone (assuming you attack from the South). It's entrance is the only part of the bunker th...

8. [Opinion] Skirmish is wildly unbalanced - in Manus Peak [original thread]
A well placed uplink on the top-right quadrant of 3F provides a very good cover for friendly spawns and take the C objective very easily. I kept putting my uplink there every time but I'm surprised nobody or very little players use it. As a ninja ...

10. why do we have to play this map 80% of the time on skirmish? - in Manus Peak [original thread]
You only need to look into the history of that OTHER map to see why. I'm talking about Line Harvest. Originally, during the E3 build and maybe Precursor, Line Harvest was originally known as Plateau and was widely known back then as the most anno...

I hate it. Line Harvest is the map that sets the best example. Very little or almost no one complains about it anymore. Tanks don't dominate, and perfect for all professions including my own. But of course, it sets the standard for hi-sec map desi...

The terrain can be climbed. I would know as I'm a ninja knifer and I cross the ridges often on the West side to get around snipers. The problem is that it's the only effective path. You are right about the lack of cover and all.
